Nanda Devi is the highest mountain situated completely in India, and forms part of the main axis of the Great Himalayan Range. To the North of the Himalayas, the Zanskar range forms a formidable divide between India and Tibet. To the south of the Himalayan range the main tributaries of the Ganges and the Kali River form rugged gorge country before cutting though the Shivalik range, where the peaks rarely exceed 3,000m.


Day 1: Chandigarh - Corbett (350 kms)

Check into hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening enjoy Cultural Programme and Dinner. Corbett Wildlife National Park: Set up in 1936 as India's first wildlife national park and possibly the finest, the Corbett National Park was established in consultation with the great hunter and conservationist, Jim Corbett. The wildlife park spreads over some 920.9 square km at an altitude of 600 to 1100 metres at the foothills of western Himalayas in the districts of Nainital and Pauri Garhwal. In its eventful 64-year life, it has grown considerably in size and now includes the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary as a part of its 1,319 sq km of reserved forest area. Overnight stay there.

Day 2: Corbett

Early morning, visit to Corbett National Park and enjoy viewing all the wildlife & Safari’s. Overnight stay there.

Day 3: Corbett - Ranikhet

Drive to Ranikhet and check into the hotel. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure, where you can also explore the local city. Overnight stay there.

Day 4: Ranikhet

Enjoy day at leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5: Ranikhet - Nainital

Today, enjoy the scenic location that overlooks the Himalayan mountain range. Overnight stay there.

Day 6: Nainital

After breakfast, full day at leisure in Nainital, followed by departure to Chd / Delhi.
